  • 2/13/2017: Assemblywoman Lisa Krasner (R-Reno) introduced Assembly Bill 164[1], which requires voters to produce identification at the polls.[2]
  • 2/13/2017: Mentally ill prisoners in Nevada were routinely sent to solitary confinement, sometimes for five years at a time, state lawmakers reported.[3]
  • 2/13/2017: On February 14, a Nevada state assembly committee heard an automatic voter registration bill after more than 125,000 Nevadans signed a petition. If lawmakers ultimately decide against implementing this policy, the measure will be included on the ballot in 2018.[4]
